Janet Benedict is a dedicated and highly experienced Doctor of Physical Therapy with a specialization in lymphedema treatment and cancer rehabilitation. Janet is a graduate of Rosalind Franklin University/The Chicago Medical School. She has recieved her lymphedema certification from Klose Training. She holds the prestigious CLT-LANA certification, reflecting advanced clinical expertise in managing complex lymphedema cases and cancer related physical deficits, especially breast cancer related deficits.

 

Janet is the founder of Certified Lymphatics, where she provides compassionate, evidence-based care with a personalized, patient-first approach. With over three decades of experience, Janet blends clinical excellence with a strong commitment to patient education, helping individuals regain function and improve their quality of life—particularly those navigating post-cancer challenges and chronic swelling conditions. She is known for her meticulous attention to detail, holistic treatment planning, and respectful, one-on-one care delivery.​
 

Although Janet is the primary therapist at the clinic, she will occasionally partner with experienced contract physical therapists to better serve our patients. This helps us offer more appointment options and increased scheduling flexibility. Every therapist who provides care at Certified Lymphatics is a licensed physical therapist/physical therapy assistant and a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT), selected because they share her commitment to providing compassionate, individualized, high-quality care.
